What you need to know about your Wedding DJ

Today I thought that I would share with you this useful information about hiring a Wedding DJ, this was sent to me by Rob Hutchinson of BGN Events. Rob is a very reputable DJ who has several years of experience and is well known locally.

It is difficult to choose a Wedding DJ and to be sure that they will be professional and provide the service you require. Here are a few tips to help you in your search.

Ensure your DJ is Fully Insured & all equipment is PAT Tested. Hotels and Venues will demand to see this documentation
Ask your DJ for a signed contract ensuring they will turn up for your reception and not let you down
...
Many DJ's work for 'cash in hand' and don't take the responsibility of providing Wedding Reception entertainment seriously, ask for a face-to-face meeting or testimonials if you are unsure of their character
Check your personalised track list will be played on the night
